"With To The Edge, students will encounter the God of the universe—seeing God’s great power as they explore deep space, traveling beyond our solar system. They will learn about God’s love, holiness, forgiveness, and plan of salvation; which reveal through Jesus’ life and teaching what God, the creator of all, is like."
Colton Bill going to Juarez
Colton Bills will begin an internship in Juarez this May. We will be having a special prayer time for him on Sunday, April 26. At the close of the service, we will also receive an offering to assist him with his expenses while doing this internship. In addition to praying for Colton, please ask God to lay on your heart what He would have you to give as a love gift to him.
"Breakout" Community Ministry
This Saturday from 2PM-6PM, weather permitting, we will be gathering at Olive Branch Park and join with four other churches for a community outreach. There will be Christian music groups singing, a rock climbing wall, as well as food and water. We're praying that we can impact many lives through this community outreach. Even if you cannot attend, please make this event a matter of prayer.
National Day of Prayer May 7
This annual event is just another way of seeking to encourage folks in our area. On Thursday, May 7, we will be delivering cookies and taking prayer requests at local schools, government agencies and businesses. We need your assistance:
1. Please pick up a packet to prepare cookies to be delivered.
2. Please assist us on that day by either driving or delivering cookies.
3. Please pray that God will use us to encourage folks as we deliver the cookies and take prayer requests.
God has blessed us with many folks serving Him here at New Prospect Baptist Church. That having been said, there are some opportunities that God is laying at our feet. Please prayerfully consider involving yourself in one of these exciting ministries!
Women's Ministry Bible Study (see bulletin inserts). We will be offering a morning and an evening study.
Community Outreach in conjunction with D-NOW. Scott Hanks will be sharing a little about this event this coming Sunday morning during announcement time.
