This past Sunday we began our College Ministry Sunday School class. Joey and Molly Simpson are leading this class and assembling in the College Classroom just across from the Infant Room. Please invite anyone you know who would benefit from this class.

Adult Christmas Music
We will have a "Choir Retreat" on saturday, September 20, beginning at 9:30AM. We will begin practicing our program for this year, which is "Noel: Carols of Christmas". Childcare and lunch will be provided. The presentation will be on Sunday evening, December 14th at 6:00PM. This is a great way to get involved in the music ministry. Children's Check-In
We are so excited about our new Children's Check-In system. The check-in is located in the main foyer by the desk, and will be required for your child to enter his/her class. This is just another way of making sure that when you bring your child to church, there is a security system in place. There is an opportunity for members to learn this new system to assist Laura when needed. Please contact her, if you are interested.
Lewisburg Apparel Booth
We still have openings for anyone wanting to participate in working the apparel booth at the high school football games. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer. Please be in prayer about this opportunity of ministry.
Margaret Lackey State Missions Offering
We continue to receive gifts for this offering through they month of September. There are envelopes and brochures outlining how the monies will be used. Please pray for this offering and about what God would have you to give.
God has blessed us with many folks serving Him here at New Prospect Baptist Church. That having been said, there are some opportunities that God is laying at our feet. I know that He has already planted the ones necessary to fill these opportunities in our fellowship. Below is a list of areas needing service. Please let Bro. Bob, any member of the Nominating Team, or Joey Simpson (SS Director) know if God is leading you to help.
