 Vacation Bible School (VBS) is coming upon us very quickly!! The dates for VBS are July 19th through the 23rd. Please fill out this registration form and bring it to the church or you may mail it to us directly! The address information is at the bottom of the page. See the link below.. What Is Vacation Bible School (VBS)?
VBS is a child-centered program that presents the Good News of Jesus Christ in a fun, creative and age-appropriate environment. It is a power-packed week of adventure where the children explore God's Truth and His unique love for them.
Who Attends? We welcome ALL children to our VBS! Classes are available for children 4 years old through the 5th grade. Children 3 years old and under may attend ONLY if they are children of our VBS workers.
How Do I Register My Children For VBS? You can click on the link above to open the VBS Registration Form. You can fill this form out on-line, however it will not save any information. Once the form has been completed, it can be faxed to the church office, Attention Ms. Clara, or mailed to the address located below. You can also bring the form(s) during any of our church services held on Wednesday night and Sunday morning and evening. Lastly, you may bring in the completed forms during the week, during normal business hours Monday through Thursday.
Is There A Charge For Vacation Bible School? There is no charge for VBS, however, a free will offering is collected each day that will be given towards missions. We are also collecting canned goods this year that will be given to the Olive Branch food pantry. All of your support and generosity is greatly appreciated.
If My Child Brings a Friend to VBS, Can the Friend Be In the Same Class As My Child? Yes, as long as they are in the same grade. All of our lessons and crafts are designed to be age appropriate. The children will enroll in the class that they completed this past school year. All friends must also register prior to attending VBS.
Does New Prospect Baptist Church Provide Transportation to VBS? Yes!! We will be running the church van on a daily basis, however, parents must complete the Safety and Liability forms PRIOR to children being transported. Children WILL NOT be able to ride on the church van unless these forms are completed. Parents may come to the church normal business hours Monday through Thursday.
